Who We Are

Ex Arte, Latin for "according to the rule of art", is a partnership between David Dominguez and Camile Betances forged out of a mutual love for seeing and expressing life through the lens of a camera.

Our Style

For weddings and other events we believe in a blend of traditional and photojournalistic photography. The first involves posed, created scenes. The second involves unobstrusive photographers capturing each moment as it happens naturally. This method allows for a natural photo diary of the events of the day (some converted to black and white) while throwing in a few set up shots along with post-processing of some images for climactic effect bringing them to the level of fine art. It's the best of both worlds!
